Last week we shared the start of our interior finishes inside the Spotzmobile. This week we want show you more of the inside work that is happening!
The Spotzmobile, our Fifth-Wheel, is a 2008 Keystone Copper Canyon that we have owned for a couple years. It measures 34 feet and has a couple bedrooms with a den, kitchen and bathroom. It has two slides.
Last week, we told you all about the flooring we installed throughout the RV. We love how it turned out, don't you?
In the master bedroom, we installed a new TV at the foot of the bed. It fit in the space perfectly.
On the Den side of the entertainment center, we modified the two lower cabinets and installed an electric fireplace. RV furnaces run on propane and ours works just fine. However, there are some nights we don't really need the furnace but just a little something to take the chill off. The new fireplace is the perfect solution and looks great in the space. We will install a second TV above it soon. Here's a little video of the fireplace installation:
There has also been lots of progress in the bathroom! You may remember that we already resurfaced the shower and tub, as well as adding tile to the wall behind the vanity. This week, we replaced the old shower fixtures with new water saving Stainless Steel taps and Showerhead. We love the way the shower turned out!
We also installed the new vanity cabinet, sink and fixtures. It is very narrow which adds quite a bit of floorspace to the tiny bathroom. We love the modern look and think the white looks so bright and clean. Here's a look:
